SHANGHAI, Jun. 27 (SMM) – China’s secondary aluminum industry is benefitting from supply side reform, economic restructuring and improved demand, the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) noted.
Secondary aluminum output reached 6.3 million tonnes in 2016 and will hit 3.35 million tonnes in H1 2017, the CNIA predicted. Many SMEs shut down amid environmental protection checks.
